From the master of reduction: Fabian Schwaerzler
The L1 is the first watch from the collaboration between Maurice de Mauriac and Fabian Schwaerzler. Schwaerzler's award-winning furniture for companies such as Vitra has helped him gain an enthusiastic following among design lovers, which he now has among watch lovers as well.
The see-through case reveals with a blue anti-reflective sapphire crystal the pulsating caliber. You have the feeling of being able to see and feel the soul of the mechanical automatic movement. The watch is alive. Together with an engraved rotor, each watch becomes a highly emotional gift. Also to oneself.

"Maurice de Mauriac's minimalist and ultra-modern L-Series has become a modern classic, developed in close collaboration with Zurich visionary Fabian Schwaerzler - a close friend of the founder Dreifuss. Mr. Schwaerzler's distinctive style translates effortlessly from his usual oeuvre of chairs and sofas to the question of a round watch, its purpose, and functionality enhanced by his purist approach.“
True to his historical inspirations - the Zurich Concretists and Bauhaus, Schwärzler advocates democratic and autonomous design. The L1 is unisex... It gives the wearer the best time without demanding anything of that time in terms of attention. Precisely that, is what makes it striking in the end.

The L series was created in close collaboration with the founder of Maurice de Mauriac, Daniel Dreifuss. Here, two strong personalities have driven each other to create a strong watch.
Super-LumiNova is a phosphorescent Glow and is free of radioactive material. Super-LumiNova is a hundred times brighter than other inactive luminescent pigments. When the luminescent pigments have been triggered by daylight or artificial light, they release the absorbed light energy over several hours in the dark. This gives the watch extremely good readability even in the dark.
