Fabian Schwaerzler is the man to thank for Maurice de Mauriac’s “L1″ watch – he says it’s one of the designs he’s most proud of, and we can see why. This reference has a stainless steel case with a black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating that is abrasion and scratch resistant – and also hypoallergenic because it is vacuum applied. It enters as an expression of a pared-down design style with a touch of revolution. By means of the red anti-reflective sapphire crystal, which provides a touch of the 80s. As well as the lightning bolt on the date display instead of the “1”. The watch comes white a white rubber strap. The DLC strap can be selected separately. Due to the water resistance of 10 bar it can be worn while washing hands, showering and even swimming

Automatic crown in DLC
The crown offers good grip and precise turning, thereby making adjustments to the watch very easy. The watch is water resistant to 10 ATM. This means that the watch can be worn, for example, while you are washing your hands, in the rain, in the shower, while washing the car, skiing, trekking or swimming. Automatic glass bottom in DLC

Stainless steel with a DLC-coating (Diamond-Like-Carbon) stands out via its beautiful grey / black colour. DLC makes stainless steel extremely abrasion and scratch resistant.
