WARM & WONDERFUL X MAURICE DE MAURIAC “BLACK SHEEP”
The ‘Black Sheep’ design has now made its way into watch culture through a luminous collaboration between Zurich-based watch brand Maurice de Mauriac and Warm & Wonderful to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the original knitwear company revitalised by Rowing Blazers.
Limited to 45 pieces, the ‘Black Sheep’ edition fits most wrists with its 39mm case, traditionally used in the brand’s Classic collection and tennis-inspired Rallymaster series. It is powered by a Swiss Landeron automatic movement and comes with not one, but two two-piece stretch textile straps specially developed for Maurice de Mauriac – one black and one white, both with a red centre line, which can be worn according to the wearer’s mood or style.

The PVD-Case back
The case back is made of solid, polished stainless steel with a PVD coating and engraved sheep logo.The watch is equipped with not just one, but two two-piece textile flex straps specially developed for Maurice de Mauriac - a black and a white one, both with a red centre line, which can be worn as the mood takes you or as the occasion demands.
Black screw-down crown
The case is 12 mm high. The black crown is easy to grip and can be turned precisely so that the watch can be set with great ease. The water resistance is 10 ATM. This means that the watches can be worn when washing hands, in the rain, when washing up and showering, when washing the car, when skiing, trekking and, of course, diving. The Watchbox
The set contains a specially made black sheep and a specially made, two-piece stretchable textile flex strap, with a quick-change system for changing the straps quickly and independently.The watch box also includes a ‘Black Sheep’ patch that can be knit anywhere to underline the symbolic distinctive identity and the significance of being the odd one out.
The darker the lighter
Super-LumiNova is a phosphorescent phosphor and is free from radioactive additives. Super LumiNova is a hundred times brighter than other inactive luminescent pigments. When the luminous pigments are stimulated by daylight or artificial light, they release the light energy they have absorbed over several hours in the dark.
