Screw-down pushers grant an additional mechanical aspect to watches. In order to operate the stopwatch function, one has to first unscrew the collar then, close it again after stopping it. The crown is always decorated with an M.Black Chrono, screw-down pushers, caseback
Our display back case uses a blue anti-reflective sapphire crystal and thus allows for an unobstructed view of the pulsating caliber. One has the feeling that the soul of the mechanical automatic movement can both be felt and seen. The watch is alive. After the takeover by ETA, the Valjoux 7750 was re-named the caliber ETA 7750. This is quite possibly the most successful automatic chronograph movement of all time. The caliber stands out due to its high degree of accuracy and robustness. It has 25 stones, a ball-bearing mounted rotor, and a uni-directional winding mechanism. The 7750 has a 1/8-second counter, a 30-minute counter, a 12-hour counter, 28,800 half oscillations per minute and a power reserve of ca. 44 hours. The loss of accuracy is 1-6 seconds per day. A day to reflect on watch magic ✨
Two years ago today, something new began because something old had come to an end - without anyone looking for it. Massimo, Leonard and Masha lost their role model for what they are today: the movers and shakers behind MDM.
Daniel Dreifuss was suddenly missing not only as a family man and brand founder, but also as a great watch wizard, and the magic threatened to end.
Today, two years on, there are three watch wizards - and the magic has tripled.
In this time, three times as many watches have been developed, three times as many sold, and the magic still fascinates. It doesn’t always have to be the big moment when something dramatically disappears. It is the small magic that touches.

A little story on Sunday: It all started with a parcel that wasn’t delivered...A Portuguese customer’s new watches were not delivered by the parcel service. The parcel began an odyssey and at some point we decided that one of us would take it to Cascais personally.
Of course, you then call Portuguese friends to meet up. Miguel Seabra is one such long-time friend. Miguel, a watch enthusiast, immediately calls a few more watch lovers and we sit together on the beach in Cascais and talk watches and philosophize.
At moments like this, our family expands to include people who share a special love.
…And the conclusion of the story: something good can also come out of something bad.
