Following the Züri Date, the Bärn Date and the Zug Date, the Basel Date now speaks the Basel dialect.

This means that the days of the week on the Day-Date movement speak the language of the people of Basel. The first ten watches will be numbered and engraved to mark the anniversary. They will be rare items. But that’s not all.

The first 10 watches ordered, regardless of size, will come with an exclusive print of the Photo Basel 2025 logo – the Popsicel.

This watch speaks the Basel dialect
The dial is characterised by the day display at 12 o'clock in Basel Swiss German and a magnifying glass on the date at 3 o'clock.

Automatic with crown in steel
The cases of our automatic watches are 11 mm high and have a crown. The crown is easy to grip and turn precisely, so that setting the watch is possible with great ease. The water resistance is 5 ATM. This means that the watches can be worn, for example, when washing hands, in the rain, washing dishes and showering, washing cars, skiing, trekking and, of course, diving.

Automatic glass bottom in steel
A blue anti-reflective sapphire crystal reveals the pulsating caliber. One has the feeling of being able to see and feel the soul of the mechanical automatic movement "The watch is alive". Together with an inscribed rotor, each watch becomes a highly emotional gift. Also to yourself.

No matter what size the watch is ordered in. The photo is by PUTPUT, a multidisciplinary Swiss-Danish artist duo with a deep-rooted fascination for everyday life, who work primarily with conceptual still life photography, sculpture and unlikely objects. PUTPUT has been collaborating with Photo Basel for 10 years and creates a new popsicle every year.

Super-LumiNova is a brand name under which strontium aluminate–based non-radioactive and non-toxic photoluminescent or afterglow pigments for illuminating markings on watch dials, hands and bezels, etc. in the dark are marketed. This technology offers up to ten times higher brightness than previous zinc sulfide-based materials. When the luminescent pigments were stimulated by daylight or artificial light, they give off the light energy in the dark for several hours. This gives the watch extremely good legibility even in the dark.

We have the Mille Miglia feeling for you.

The most beautiful race in the world is currently running, the race that wrote legends and still moves people’s hearts today. It’s not just any race - it’s the Mille Miglia, the legendary road race that transformed Italy into a stage for heroes from 1927 to 1957. The Mille Miglia was always more than just a race. It was an epic battle against nature, time and the limits of human ability.

For hours on end, the drivers drove 1,000 miles through the picturesque but challenging Italian countryside - from Brescia to Rome and back. The route led through fog, gravel roads and city junctions where only courage, skill and madness made the difference. Legends were born along the way: Nuvolari, who overtook Brivio in the dark with skill and courage, barely visible to the cameras. Or the British racing driver Moss, who averaged 157 km/h - with paper maps wrapped in a roll around his arm.

The Mille Miglia was always more than just a race; it embodied speed, style and an unbridled passion for competition. Drivers risked everything to achieve glory.
