The L1 Red Lightning is a striker.
The long story is too long. We would have to write about the L series, about the two L series watches that are already available with red glass. Free diving would then be a topic, saving the oceans, we would have to write about the creative class. We don't do that - we just tell directly about the L1 Red Lightning!
The L1 is so pure in style, it seemed so untouchable. We never even held the red watch glass up to the L1 just for fun. It seemed sacrilege to us. In the end, it was the musician and singer Crimer who was already wearing the L1 and quite naturally asked why the L1 didn't come with a red watch glass. It was Masha Dreifuss, the youngest child of the just deceased founder Daniel Dreifuss, who made the attempt without any fear of contact. And the lightning struck directly. Massimo and Leonard, the Watchbros, immediately went to work on the realization of the watch.
Now it's here. It hit Crimer's wrist at the launch and everyone was thrilled. There are extremely few watches that are at once so pared-down and understated, yet so life-affirmingly fresh and different, as the L1 red lightning with its rebellious red watch glass.
When this lightning strikes, no one's life is in danger. But there is a danger that life gets a twist with the watch. Time becomes clearer and at the same time more exciting. A mixture that makes every heart fall in love with the watch.
The designer of the watch, the Swiss Fabian Schwärzler, thorough puristat heart, had to take a deep breath that now also the mother of the L series, the L1, was combined with red glass. The watch on the arm, however, convinces everyone. It is a Maurice de Mauriac in the best sense. Out of tradition, it indulges in this kick that turns a watch into an experience in the style of the Maurice de Mauriac brand.
Color man Daniel Dreifuss loved the red watch glasses on the L series watches. He combined them with red and orange with his color courage and made a creative classic out of the design classic that was at rest in itself.
Crimer celebrated with the watch at the launch, letting those in attendance remember the time you don't if you lived it right - the 80s.
Be bold, live tradition and stir it up wherever we can and must recreate traditions for the future today - you have to start somewhere, why not with the watch.
