In 1973, the first Nato strap was presented to the British Ministry of Defense. It was the talk of the dinosaurs of the watch industry in Zurich. Daniel Dreifuss as a guest at the Beyertalk in our Atelier. Competitors who treated each other with the utmost respect and told their stories not against each other, but for each other. It was a pleasure to listen to them. It still is today. And it has just become a precious memory. René Beyer passed away recently, following Daniel Dreifuss, our father, who died around two years ago. We know the grief that such a loss triggers and sympathize with all those who will miss René Beyer. The love for the watch will outlast death. We wish them both good conversations wherever they meet now.
