A continuous speed 180 km/h meets the Fabulous Flitzer Club
Why are car lovers so keen on mechanical watches? Quite easy to answer. If you compare the performance of a watch movement with that of a combustion engine, it runs at 180 km/h continuous speed. This impresses and fascinates every Petrolhead.
The Fabulous Flitzer Club went on its Grand Tour through Switzerland and our L3 Sees red was present. A mechanical hand-winding watch, with cars older than 1990, what a fabulous harmony.. The mix of participating cars, from the MG Mitget to the Aston Martin Lagonda, were matched in levels of enthrallment with the chosen L3. The L3 sees red with a red sapphire crystal. Speed of 180km/h on your wrist and the watch glows in the sun like a race engine.
The mastermind behind the Fabulous Flitzer Club, Dirk Rumpf, stands for first-class events. So our watches were not only the best but also in the best of hands.
The tour went on two different characteristic routes over 7 passes – in two days. With a mixture of automotive fascination and relaxation, The event turned into a very intense experience, which not only brought joy but also initiated new friendships.
The L3 sees red, which accompanies us, carrying the scent of metal, noble leather, and the aura of mechanical fascination. Returning it through the red crystal like a secret, which only car drivers of this kind can understand, at 180 km/h. Every day becomes fabulous, every day you have a speedster to enjoy from the bottom of your heart.
The mechanics of the L3 Sees red is as much as excitement as the experience on such days. You just have to take care of the engines before you plunge into the Alps.
System blasters are the new elite
In German-speaking countries, the classic film with Charles Bronson, in which a man sees red, is called "A man sees red". There is a masculine red, this powerful red of men who can change lives. Their own, and that of many. But that alone is not reason enough for the "L3 sees red".
L3 and Filmer meet at the roots
With its design, which is based on the aesthetics of the Bauhaus and thus on the roots of design, the L3 has brought a filmmaker back to the roots of his work. Today Chris Tribelhorn produces exclusively beauty and fashion films – and very successfully. So to entice him away from the scene, we chose the L3. The L3 has its charm without being loud and screaming, it is very subtle and offers an intense and long-lasting essence.
Product films, like the one Tribelhorn made about the L3, are extremely concentrated, because of the reduced atmosphere, there is no flash location or anything else that might distract from the product. This is all about the product. Focused, almost meditative. The film has only light, movement, and the product. lose, clear, replicating a view like being under the eyepiece of a microscope.
We thank Chris Tribelhorn for being seduced by the L3, because he captured this watch perfectly. This mixture of clarity, purity, objectivity, and freedom that this watch gives with the space that spreads out under the tall glass, has to be understood to show it so perfectly.
